TCR Eastern Europe: 2019-Present

Multiple regional touring car championships have also utilised the TCR regulations debuted by the TCR International Series in 2015, including TCR Eastern Europe. These regulations provide a relatively accessible means of racing full-on customer tin-tops, with models available from a wide range of manufacturers.

TCR Eastern Europe was launched in 2019 to provide a TCR series for teams and drivers based in Eastern Europe, as the TCR Europe series tended not to race there that often. The championship has visited circuits in several different countries including Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, and Poland.

So far the championship has enjoyed healthy interest, with a solid variety of cars and talented drivers contesting the series. In the first five seasons of TCR Eastern Europe there wasn’t a repeat champion, which is a credit to the variety and depth of talent attracted by the series.
